I was being wheeled out of surgery recovery last night while you were sitting up in your bed in the same area. We made eye contact and you smiled. I tried to smile back but between the pain and the mask you probably didn’t notice and thought I was a jerk. Anyways, I know the smile was meaningless but given how that day went and the pain I was in, it made my day, so thank you!
