re guns don't kill people

"Guns represent people trying to pacify their own fears. Guns allow people who feel helpless and vulnerable feel some level of control. If we fix our society immaturity and insecurity guns will become irrelevant" While I can agree with a lot of what you wrote, there are gun owners who enjoy a day at the gun range or hunting. While most rely on guns to protect them, the problem is not with them but with those in our society who make others feel helpless and vulnerable. Problem is, how do you remove or re educate those who prey on innocents? Since most democrats fall into the category of predators what should be done to guarantee the safety of non democrats? I know of no country/state who would be willing to take them and removing them with force would not be the American way. Perhaps disarming democrats by taking their guns, knives, baseball bats, 2x4 over six inches long, matches, cars, vicious dogs, etc would help with the problem. Any added thought on this from you would be appriciated.
