Automatic and semi-automatic weapons are power multipliers for people who feel powerless but for an arsenal of weapons. The reason why we see mass killings is because of the availability of weapons designed for mass killing. There have always been people with mental health issues that act in violent ways. The availability of semi-automatic and automatic weapons allows these people to perpetrate violence that is orders of magnitude larger than had guns of mass destruction not been available to them. Don't waste your time praying about the solution. Don't ask your God to do for you what you need to do yourself. GET TO THE POLLS. Grow a spine and vote out the politicians who cater to the NRA.
