We are looking to hire two Drivers Associated Buyers is looking for a new team member (Driver). We are a fast paced company that delivers Organic, Ethnic and Specialty foods across New England. Knowledge and Experience A high school diploma or GED is preferred for this position. The ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic arithmetic is required. Previous experience in warehouse or materials storage and order picking is helpful. Driver: SAFETY Work is performed in trucks, loading/receiving docks and warehouse environments. Employees are responsible for maintaining their work area, including the cabs of trucks, in a clean, neat, safe and orderly condition. The employee is introduced to a variety of safety policies and procedures during orientation. Seat belts are required to be worn whenever operating a company vehicle. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Must be 21 years old to driver a commercial vehicle across state lines. A high school diploma or GED, the ability to read and write in English and the ability to add and subtract whole numbers is required. A valid operator’s license and a listing of all violations of motor vehicle traffic laws and ordinances during previous 12 months is required. Pay is based from your training and experience. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour depending on your experience.
