In this workshop families will be invited to work together to create their own island or world. This is a take on an exercise that is used in art therapy often called the family drawing. Various materials will be provided, both 2D and 3D to create with. What will the name of the island/world be? What kinds of animals or plants will live there? What will the buildings look like? It's all up to you! This class is all about having fun and creating with the ones you love. Families will also be invited to create roads/bridges etc. to other worlds if they choose! My name is Amanda and I am currently a clinician in the field of human services. My mission has been to help and support others. I believe in shining the light so that others can see their glow. It has been amazing, I have had wonderful opportunities along the way and I have learned so much from what I do. I am interested in giving back to the community by providing my skillset in expressive arts based therapies and allow others to come and make a beautiful mess!
