Graduates from TU leave with the vision, creativity and adaptability to craft solutions that enrich culture, society, economy and environment of Maryland, the region and beyond. According to a first destination outcome survey administered to the Towson University undergraduate class of 2021, 87% of working graduates are employed in Maryland. Along with that, 89% of graduates had either found a job or were continuing their education. "Commencement is my very favorite time of the year. For our students, it is a time of looking back at where they have come and looking ahead to where they are going," says Towson University President Kim Schatzel. "The season of Commencement brings us all together to celebrate our university and its traditions. As the bells of Stephens Hall ring to start the commencement ceremonies, we are reminded that we are all Towson University Tigers and are assembled to witness the fulfillment of the dreams of our graduates and their loved ones. It is truly an emotional day and one filled with great joy." This press release was produced by Towson University. The views expressed here are the author's own.
