We are seeking an experienced Full Time Porter to cover our portfolio of properties in Hollywood, Koreatown, West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General apartment building cleaning common area. Sweep, mopping, vacuuming of multiple levels of buildings. Empty all trash cans Clean and supply materials for restrooms Clean and polish office furniture and fixtures Clean glass windows and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges or squeegees. Dust office furniture, walls, building signs and mailboxes Clean BBQ Grill Clean laundry center. Sweep, mop, clean washing machines and remove lint from dryers. Clean gym center, dust off gym equipment. Clean dog walk areas. Empty trash cans and refill the pet baggies Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors. Notify mangers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems Clean parking lot. Pick up trash. Clean pool area. Make sure furniture is straightened. Lounge chairs should be lined up uniformly. Vacant unit turn cleans Misc. Cleaning tasks Requirements: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Reliable Transportation/Auto insurance required Previous Cleaning experience Proof of legal right to work in the United States Able to lift 35 pounds and carry a vacuum cleaner throughout levels of buildings. Ability to frequently climb, kneel, stoop, crouch and/or crawl. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job. Organized and able to adhere to a schedule Self-motivated as well as the ability to work as a team Qualifications Two years of facilities maintenance, handyman or porter experience Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and correspondence in English. Ability to effectively present information to tenants, vendors, and other employees in English. Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, operate hand and power tools, and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted. Must pass drug test and background check.
