(May 23, 2022) — The Bay Area Arts & Culture Alliance (BAACA) are encouraging public participation in an online survey to help advance arts and culture initiatives in Greater Green Bay. The survey is available in both English and Spanish. Results of the Spark GGB! survey will play a critical role in gathering public input as part of the area's first-ever community-wide arts and culture assessment. Participants who complete the survey are eligible to win a $40 Amazon gift card. "Residents share a common desire for more arts, culture, and creative activities in the region. Now is the time to come together to imagine Greater Green Bay's future," said Mary Reinders, senior research analyst at Reinders Research, who is serving as the project's consultant. "This comprehensive cultural assessment is engaging community and connecting leaders to creatively enhance the quality of life for all citizens." Recent town halls have already generated some leading goals, including the promotion of diversity, equity, access, and inclusion, growing the local economy, attracting and retaining talent, welcoming visitors, representing Green Bay's own rich history and unique identity, and renewing neighborhoods and under-leveraged areas. Remaining public town halls for Spark GGB! include: Wednesday, May 25, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Community Town Hall – VIRTUAL OPTION (Register HERE)Thursday, June 2, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Community Town Hall at Weidner Center (Register HERE) Upon completion, results of the regional cultural assessment of Brown County will be publicly shared at greenbayart.org/spark-ggb.
