This WALKING event will take place on the evening of Friday, July 8 on the property of Heron Pond Farm. We will be searching for medicinal mushrooms to identify, there will be NO foraging or picking. There is a slight chance we may not find anything, but we most likely will - think of it as a treasure hunt! Please dress according to the weather. We will be walking for almost 2 hours, so be sure to wear good, sturdy shoes and bring water. Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. We will go out in light rain, but if it is heavy rain or a thunderstorm, we will make a rain date! Her love of all things natural and healing came from a rich family history, going back to 1700’s Great North Woods and Canada. Ann has also been avidly studying mushroom identification and medicinal uses, since 2003. Ann received her Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from UNH, with a focus on medical anthropology, in 2000.
