PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Police are asking for the public's help in providing any information that could be helpful while they reconstruct a fatal collision scene that led to one man's death in New Carrollton Saturday night. The identity of the man is being withheld until his family has been notified. On May 21 at approximately 10 p.m., officers responded to a call about a man who had been hit by a vehicle in the 9000 block of Annapolis Road. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The preliminary investigation suggests that the man was hit by a vehicle as he attempted to cross Annapolis Road, according to the police department. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was not injured. Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to call the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit at 301-731-4422.
