Press release from the City of Groton: 2022/05/24 The Memorial Day Holiday is on Monday, May 30, 2022. Public Works will be closed on Monday, therefore all trash and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Also please note that summer hours will begin after Memorial Day, running through Labor Day. Public Works hours will be 6:00 am – 2:00 pm – so residents should have the trash and recycling out by 6:00 am. For more information please call the City of Groton Highway Department at 860-446-4127.
