Innovative black business-oriented initiative, Contribution To The Culture Contribution To The Culture' was launched in June of 2020, with the purpose of giving community members an outlet to redirect their dollars collectively to Black Owned Businesses and Brands on a weekly basis. Small Businesses are the foundation to any community and the fabric of this nation. 'Contribution to the Culture' provides a platform for community members to build on the principles of unity and collective economics. 'Contribution to the Culture' plays a role in assisting community members with strengthening their muscles when it comes to doing business with Black Owned Businesses on a regular basis. Living this energy outside of Kwanzaa, Black Friday and on the anniversary of the Black Wall Street Massacre is key to not only strengthening our culture, yet also in sustaining and evolving it. Being intentional in our spending is part of the process and many of us have not yet developed the muscle of intentionality nor are we associated with people who promote such. 'Contribution to the Culture' affords people the opportunity to engage even when they forget. The average Small Business can go days into weeks without generating a profit; 'Contribution to The Culture' provides Small Business Owners with an unexpected deposit. As of to-date, our contributions have assisted Small Business Owners with feeding their staff, paying their light bill and even paying for personal medication for Owners TO BE in a position to show up for their Businesses; and that's just to name a few. It really is a win-win situation. It's not a sousou. It's not an investment club. It's a Contribution to the Culture.
