Get creative with reclaimed tiles. No experience required. Join local artist Lisa Plefka Haskin in upcycling reclaimed ceramic tiles into beautiful pieces suitable for hanging on your wall, using as coasters or brightening up any space. Participants will create a set of 4, 4"x4" tiles. Lisa Plefka Haskin is an Evanston artist with a diverse art and graphic design background. Over the course of her career she has worked as a graphic designer; run her own faux finishing and decorative painting business; and always kept her hands in various painting and art/craft projects. As a mixed media artist, Lisa enjoys repurposing materials. Rather than items ending up in a landfill she likes to utilize them in her art.
