Description

Join us for an evening of botanical flower drawing! Come and learn about botanical illustration, which combines science and art to create imagery that both delights and informs the viewer. Pick your favorite species and learn how to draw basic anatomical features of plants. Learn how the various parts work to attract pollinators and ensure the survival and reproduction of the plant. Led by Rachelle McKnight, RLA, ISA, CERP. We will have some pencils and paper, but if you have your own art supplies feel free to bring them. Families are welcome, but all children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that we are requiring you to provide a cell phone/phone number to reach you. We will use this to contact you the day-of the event to ensure it's happening especially in the case of inclement weather. We are accepting donations for all of our events and work days this season. Your support helps our programs. ♥ If you have questions, please contact Kim (email: [email protected] / phone: 518-417-1971). ~ Directions for getting to Tivoli Community Farm: Our Farm location is located in the baseball field next to the former Livingston Middle School (now the Livingston Apartments).
