Pollen Mobile is building the world’s first decentralized mobile network that’s built on the blockchain and owned and operated by its users, and we need your help. We released the first batch of our hardware to the SF Bay Area on February 14th and sold out in 3 hours. Our second batch to LA, New York, and San Francisco sold out in 10 minutes. We just closed a seed round that included Slow Ventures, DISH, Delphi Digital, OVN Capital, Acorn Pacific Ventures and others. In short, we have a ton of opportunity and we're moving FAST. We're looking for a Warehouse Operations Associate to support our growth by owning the end to end packing and shipping process and ensuring that our warehouse sings. This role will sit at the nexus of customer support, manufacturing, and operations, and will own things provisioning hardware, picking orders, shipping/receiving, and creating the standard operating procedures for it all. As an early hire, you’ll join a high energy, high collaboration team that's making key decisions to shape the future of Pollen. Join us 🚀 What You'll Do: - Fulfillment—pick orders, provision hardware (run scripts), pack, and prepare them for shipping - Inventory Management—help manufacturing maintain inventory tracking and anticipate delays - Shipping—manage shipping through Shopify, ShipStation, UPS., etc. and be point person for daily pickups; manage returns and one-off shipping as needed - Process Management—establish the standard operating procedures for shipping, receiving - Floor Management—keep the area tidy and organized Requirements: - You can work out of our San Francisco office M-F 10am - 6pm and some weekends during busy seasons - Comfortable with data entry, spreadsheets, databases, and software like Shopify, ShipStation, etc. - Organizational mind with a passion for process - Comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic, startup environment - Ability to be on your feet and do manual labor, including lifting boxes, carrying boxes, using hand trucks, bending, squatting, etc. - Great at working independently and exercising good judgement - BONUS: Experience with hardware manufacturing - DOUBLE BONUS: Experience or interest in web3, NFTs, and cryptocurrencies Hours and Compensation: This is a part-time, $30/hour position based in San Francisco, CA. The option to transfer this to a full-time, salaried position is available after 3 months of success. Team lunch is provided every Tuesday and Thursday.
