Trio looking for female bass player. We are 2 guys on guitars and female drummer playing originals, join us and balance out the ranks. Our sound is so far Alt-Americana, Art-Pop, Singer Songwriter. Journeyman, veteran singer guitarist, former touring pro on guitar and a novice drummer who keeps good time and doesn’t play loud. Would be great to find someone with good chemistry who can also do back-up vocals. Influences include- Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, Frank Sinatra, Sam Cook, Sara Vaughn, Smiths, Cure, Stones, Clash, Art Tatum, Beyoncé, REM, Van Morrison, Edith Piaf, Hank Williams, John Hiatt, Jackie Wilson. We’re off to a good start with a bunch of originals, looking to hone set, play out, record, rule world. Two members enjoy some beers but not a party scene, cigarettes would be a drag, herb ok. We’re in my garage now, maybe rent rehearsal space if you join us. Hoping to find someone to play in pocket, vocals a big plus. Seeking a stable person, but some neuroses is ok. Kind atmosphere, located central San Jose. We are excited about our group so far and have received good feedback from friends, only have phone recordings so far, made so we didn’t forget songs.
