Memphis Literacy Conference Join us at our second annual Memphis Literacy Conference on July 30, 2022, where we will expose Memphis-area teachers and leaders to research-based best practices, foster and unite the literacy community in Memphis, and actively advocate for equitable literacy best practices. We are honored to welcome Natalie Wexler, author of The Knowledge Gap: The Hidden Cause of America’s Broken Education System - -and How to Fix It and The Writing Revolution, as our keynote speaker. The first 100 conference registrants will receive a free copy of Wexler's book The Knowledge Gap (will be available for pick-up day of conference). Refund policy: Refund requests received on or before July 15, 2022 will be honored but are subject to an administrative fee. Registrants canceling on or after July 16, 2022 will not receive a refund, but registration may be transferred to another individual. In the event that the Memphis Literacy Conference is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the cost of registration will be refunded.
