Set-up banquet rooms for social events as designed on a timely basis. Ensure floors are clean before putting tables and chairs in place. Ensure requested electronic equipment and linens are in place. Ensure recycle, food waste and garbage cans are lined and placed where needed. During events, monitor bathrooms to ensure paper products are available and bathroom fixtures are in proper working order. Mop up spills as well as use a toilet plunger, if necessary. For tear-down and clean-up, wipe down tables and chairs before storing. Return bar glasses to the bar. Clear tables/walls of decorations and other debris left by client. Bag and store used linens. Dishwashing may be required. Ensure building is secured at the end of an event. Communicate with other staff members regarding special janitorial requests, building damage, etc. Greet guests as they arrive in the building. Other duties as assigned.
