In the U.S honeybee populations held by beekeepers has held steady, but is down from years past according to USDA data. Keeping backyard bees is an evermore important hobby that protect honeybees and improves their populations!
If you're interested in keeping bees this is the perfect class for you. You will learn some of the basic skills needed to start keeping bees as well as a good outline of what a year's worth of beekeeping looks like. Look below for an Agenda*.
