HOBOKEN, NJ — Will former Hoboken Fire Department Battalion Chief Mike Turner win season 42 of "Survivor"? You'll have to tune in on Wednesday night, because the lifelong resident isn't telling.
"Contemplating being in the final 5. Humbled by this experience," was what he Tweeted on Friday.
Turner, at 57, is the oldest member of the current cast, but he's Jersey strong.
He's had ups and downs during this season, including having to sit through a torrential downpour.
"Everybody says they'd run into a burning building and pull a person out," he said in his intro video earlier this year. "But you never know what you're going to do until you're in that moment. So hopefully I'm prepared to adapt."
He's not the only Jerseyan left on the island. Lindsay Dolashewich, a dietician from Asbury Park, also made it to the final five.
The finale airs at 8 p.m. Wednesday on CBS.
