Come to Norway House to Zoom with Norwegian Sami climber, Kristin Harila from Kathmandu, as she tries to break another world record!
In May 2021, Norwegian Sami climber, Kristin Harila became the fastest woman to climb Mount Everest and Lhotse, in less than 12 hours. She has now set out on a new challenge: to become the first woman in history and the second person ever to climb all 14 peaks over 8,000 meters in just 6 months. She has already summited the first two peaks.
Kristin will join us via zoom from Katmandu (after her fifth summit), to tell us about her experiences. You will get a chance to ask Kristin a question following her presentation!
Join your friends to Zoom with Kristin at Norway House! Coffee and light refreshments will be provided while you watch. The Kaffebar will also be open following the event.
Tickets are free (donations welcome), though registration is required for in-person viewing. In-person viewing at Norway House is limited to 30 people.
