Press release from the City of Greensboro: 05/25/2022 9:38 AM Sections of Greensboro are undergoing various stages of street resurfacing that will affect traffic flow in those areas. Specific streets affected, when and for what are listed below. These jobs are part of the City's 2022 Resurfacing project and will be publicized every Wednesday until complete. Projects for Thursday, May 26 ~ Oak Street between S. Josephine Boyd Street and Silver Avenue – Paving o Alternate lanes will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm. Projects for Thursday, May 26 to Wednesday, June 1 ~ Holden Road between Market and Patterson streets – Milling o Alternate lanes will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm for several days. Projects for Friday, May 27 ~ McConnell Center Drive between McConnell Road and end of cul-de-sac – Paving o Alternate lanes will be closed from 7 am to 6 pm. Projects for Tuesday, May 31 to Wednesday, June 1 ~ Stanley Road between Eagle and Hilltop roads – Paving o Alternate lanes will be closed from 9 am to 4 pm. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid work areas or follow detour signs and adhere to traffic flagger directions.
