2 Cobb County Poll Locations To Extend Hours After Late Start

COBB COUNTY, GA — Two polling locations in Cobb County have announced they will extend voting hours on Election Day after poll workers experienced a delay in getting the precincts open on time. Cobb County Superior Court Judge Gregory Poole signed an order Tuesday afternoon that will keep two precincts open past 7 p.m. Zion Baptist Church (Precinct 5A) will remain open until 7:10 p.m. and Turner Chapel AME (Precinct 5B) will be open until 7:13 p.m., according to the court order. The polls are open for the May 24 Primary Election from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters in line by 7 p.m. are allowed to cast a ballot. On Election Day, you must vote at your designated polling place.
