Tom - he came to the shelter back on February 15 because his family moved and could not take him with them. He is Sweet and he is almost two years old and is a black and white tuxedo cat. He has FIV which means he was bitten by another infected cat earlier in his life or maybe his mother had it and passed it on to Tom ( Mating and biting is how it is passed by cats and only cats can get FIV (DOES NOT TRANSFER TO PEOPLE)) They can live a long and healthy life -it just means they have a weak immune system so do not let him outside to eat squirrels! He is totally healthy and a FIV cat can live with other cats.
He went to live in a cage at Palm Coast Petsmart 24/7 on May 25 and wonders when he will get out of a cage and into a home again..,
