Video Engineer Freelancer / Audio Visual Tech - San Diego, CA compensation: DOE We are looking for an experienced Freelancer Event Video Engineer. Freelancer would operate all types of video equipment for both live and virtual events including switchers, projectors, Cameras, LED Video Walls, computers, and other video components to execute an event live or virtually. - At least 3 years professional experience in video for live events - Ability to set up and operate professional video switching consoles - Experience in video cabling, signal routing, and control - Knowledge of hardware and software playback and recording, video formats and codecs. Vmix a plus - Must be able to lift, carry, move, and place up to 50 pounds as needed. - Ability to assist with loading and unloading equipment into trucks. This is for a freelancer on call position for various trade shows, concerts, corporate meetings, and live events. Please email resume and rate.
