Benefits Include: • Medical & Dental insurance through Kaiser. • PTO accruals begin on the first day! • 401(k) Retirement Plan Bonus Structure: • New Hire bonus $1,000 • Referral bonus $1,000 Responsibilities: The Maintenance Millwright Technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties by troubleshooting, servicing, repairing and maintaining the Company’s production facility equipment. • Troubleshoot, service, repair and maintain various food processing equipment including conveyors, gear boxes, dicing, peeling, heat tunnels, metal detectors, mixers, etc. • Fix minor and major issues on equipment which includes adjusting settings, blades, electric motors, water pumps, etc. • Facility maintenance includes various repairs on garage doors, plumbing, warehouse racking, bollard poles, anchor floor stops, hanging door curtains, painting, etc. • Knowledge of control panels and VFD’s. • Support the company’s safe working environment by complying with strict adherence to food service laws, guidelines and policies and procedures. • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Job Qualifications: • Ability to troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors and problem solve accordingly • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems • Be able to walk, stand, crawl, stoop and lift continuously • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools in performing duties • Must be able to work in wet and refrigerated environment • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly • Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays • A trade education in industrial mechanics preferred • Basic/intermediate computer skills • Be able to read and interpret wiring schematics.
