NEEDED: Mock Jury Participants WHAT: We are looking for adults (18+ yrs old) to serve on a panel of mock jurors throughout 2022. For mock juries, we provide a $60-80 stipend, free parking, and generous snack and beverage service. Due to personal health consideration, regardless of state mandates, in-person jurors will need to provide proof of full vaccination. Participants are encouraged to wear face coverings to the mock jury session and to mask to their comfort level for the duration. Hand sanitizer will be provided, and social distancing is encouraged. Our next round of mock jury sessions will be held at Christ Church Parish, in Lake Oswego. The location is ADA accessible, and free parking in the upper lot is available. You will be asked to potentially be part of a group discussion and/or an active listening exercise for the case prepared by our visiting attorney. No prior knowledge or experience necessary. You’ll be asked to provide written and verbal feedback to them. Active participation required; no casual observers. You will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and a Photo/Video Release upon arrival. Be aware that some of the subject matter is sensitive and/or graphic.
