My AR-15 is my hunting rifle. I took the wood stock off and put on a different stock, I use a 3 round clip as that is what the law allows for hunting. If I am allowed to have a shot gun that is better. An AR-15 is one round with one pull of the trigger. With my shot gun loaded with 00 buckshot I can put 27 9mm pellets at my target with just 3 pulls of the trigger, an AR-15 would take 27 pulls and more time. Much better chance of hitting something with 27 pellets compared to 3 rounds from an AR
