26-Year-Old Man Dies In West Birmingham Shooting

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A fatal shooting Dec. 17 is under investigation by Birmingham detectives. The shooting, which occurred at 4448 Carver Avenue, claimed the life of 26-year-old Kshune Dewayne Brown. Sgt. Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said officers found Brown at the scene alive, but suffering from gunshot wounds. Brown was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Mauldin said limited information is known about the shooting, and police have no suspects and have not established a motive for the shooting.
