Hi, We are a full established band, two guitars, bass, keys (leaving), drums. All of us do sing both lead and backing vocals. We are a PART TIME band, not interested in playing out more than a couple times a month. We have paying gigs already booked through 2022. We have been playing out for years. We have a good sized loyal following that actually shows up for our gigs. Our keyboard player of 8 years is leaving and we are looking for a replacement. We are fine if you don't sing, but of course, we more than welcome it if you do sing. We are playing music such as, The Grateful Dead, The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Frank Zappa, David Bowie, The Band and a lot of other classic rock stuff. Also, we are open to what you might like to add to the mix, but in keeping with the overall style. We are NOT looking for someone to come in that wants to take the band in a whole other direction (frequently happens, no matter how much they SAY they are into what we play). We like the direction that we are traveling in now and so do our fans. Like we said above, we are gig ready and have been playing out regularly, with more booked gigs on calendar (see calendar on website and also check EVENTS on Facebook. We just need to replace our keyboard player and we hope that YOU are that player! So, here is where we do the traditional Craigslist thing and say: Not looking for any drama queens, ego maniacs, drunks or junkies (what you do on your own time is not important to us, as long as you are sober when playing with us and it doesn't affect your ability), have good gear and know how to play and have your own form of transportation. Be ready to commit to a one night a week rehearsal (normally Friday night) and gigs (normally, no more than two a month, unless there were special circumstances). In a picture perfect world, we would practice one week, gig next week, practice next week, gig next week and so on. Getting together once a week. We get along well and have fun each week making music. We NEVER waste anyone's time at rehearsal and are well known for that. Oh, if you are looking for a money making venture, WHY are you a musician in the first place? Become a lawyer! We are NOT in it for the money, though we do get paid to play, you won't put your kids through college in this band! We all have day jobs and that is how we support ourselves. This is just for the love of making music in a band. Also, please only contact us if you are able to get together to practice once a week for 3 hours or play a gig.
