* Full Benefits * Competitive Pay * Great location * The Transfer Station Supervisor is responsible for the daily scheduling of equipment operators and yard laborers; for ensuring the full functionality of the transfer station and its compliance with relevant local, state and federal ordinances and regulations; and for ensuring the delivery of quality customer service.   REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or its equivalent At least two years of experience working in a solid waste facility, or related experience Advanced operational skills Strong logistical aptitude Basic proficiency with navigating the Internet Basic proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook Demonstrated working knowledge of the systems involved with solid waste management and disposal Ability to become proficient with software and systems used by the company, including fleet routing software   PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS At least two years of experience in a solid waste facility management     REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS Valid Texas Class C driver’s license Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), with no serious accidents or traffic violations Must obtain Class B Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) License within first six months of employment *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
