Overview This position is for a part-time, average 10 hours per week, rental property assistant. The property owner lives out of state and is working remotely to rehab, renovate, rent, and maintain a 3-unit property on the West side of Madison near Fish Hatchery Rd. Ideal candidate would be a person with strong interest to learn about residential real estate through hands-on experience. Must have a vehicle, preferably a small truck or SUV. Qualifications Responsive and trustworthy Excellent communication Flexible daytime schedule Basic residential real estate and construction experience Speaks English and Spanish preferred Comfortable using Google apps and online tools 18+ with valid US driver's license Responsibilities Communicate regularly with the owner via phone, video, and email Regularly be on-site at property Communicate with contractors and renters Shop for materials at local hardware stores, receive and store online deliveries on-site Take, notate, and upload photos Perform basic maintenance activities Compensation: $18-20/hour Apply: Qualified applicants send an email with subject: Rental Property Assistant and description of your interest, skills, experience, availability, and contact info.
