Summary A Warehouse Associate performs multiple functions, such as picking, packing, receiving, and stowing, and understands the importance of being cross-trained in all areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for meeting set production on a consistent basis based on the process being done and the outlined SOP Assists team with unloading the daily arrival of inventory from UPS or other carriers (includes lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted) Ensures inventory counts per SKU are aligned with the appropriate invoice / PO Barcodes and puts items into bags in a neat fashion Inspects for any discolored threads, fabric discoloring and anything that would take from the appearance of the product from incoming inventory (otherwise known as defective) Communicates with the receiving manager for direction and support related to the stowing process Able to follow pick list on tablet and pull merchandise according to the product pick list Verify the item is the correct size and sku number when picking for online orders Open, process, and put away items from online returns, including applying the appropriate refund method and determining any disqualified items Ensures all processes are performed following Pink Lily procedures & policies and SOPs Communicate with leadership of any inventory issues Maintains an open line of communication between the department manager(s) Supports other job functions on his/ her shift as needed Stocks supplies for the workstation every day before leaving Ensures his/her work areas are maintained and cleaned daily Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by lead / management Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Education and/or Experience · High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. · 1 year of quality/distribution experience preferred · Good mathematical skills · Excellent time management · Good oral and written communication · Good attention to detail · Must have reliable transportation Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to use an electronic tablet to read, enter data, and research product information.
