DRUMMER WANTED FOR CLASSIC HARD/HEAVY ROCK COVER BAND We are a Butler County Ohio based trio playing primarily harder classic rock covers from the 70s and 80s era. Some bands covered-but certainly not limited to as the setlist is expanding-are AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, KISS, Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy, UFO, on the 70s front and Judas Priest, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot on the 80s spectrum. Yes, we hit the hits but also dive deep into the hidden gems. In short if we were to say “KISS” there is certainly Detroit Rock City but let’s not forget All American Man. Blue Oyster Cult? Sure we love Burning For You but let’s not overlook Hot Rails To Hell or Cities On Flame. We average two shows per month. While these are paying shows this is not what most musicians would refer to as a “steady working band”; this is a hobby but one which is taken quite seriously. Please read on. This band has been established for two years plus with performances in venues from Dayton, Ohio to northern Kentucky. If there is an audience for what we do at a given venue we are interested in performing there and do not limit the area within reason. As fans of the music we perform we try to remain as faithful as possible to the songs but do allow ourselves some artistic flexibility in our arrangements. For all intents and purposes this is a band of metalheads who performs classic covers and sometimes adds a little aggressiveness/bombast; “sure, a little double bass would be nice with that straight beat!”. So that’s a little about us. Here’s what we’re seeking: Ideal candidate must have a love of the music listed above and be invested in performing said music. Be willing to practice faithfully once per week and twice when the need arises at our practice space in Middletown, Ohio. Have pro gear and reliable transportation. Vocal ability is a huge plus but absolutely not required. - Be reliable - Be easy to get along with. - Have good communication skills - Available for established gigs o We target gigging 2x/month on average - Have a clean state of mind.
