Job Description Turpin Construction is in search of an experienced concrete laborer. This individual must be reliable, hardworking and a team player. Turpin Construction provides concrete for commercial and industrial projects in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside Counties. Requirements Eligible to work in the United States. Full time, 40 hours per week. Must be able to communicate in English. Required to own basic tools: drill, hammer, concrete tools, broom, shovel, wire cutters etc. Must have your own reliable transportation to jobsites. Full PPE is required at all times: hard hat, Safety Glasses, Hi-Viz Vest, Steel Toe Boots, Long Sleeves, Pants. Duties • Report to site Foreman from Monday to Friday and be ready to work by the designated time • Follow instructions and complete tasks given by the site Foreman. • Must be able to lift 95 lbs • Finish concrete for flatwork, curb and gutter, foundations, slab on grade • Construct formwork for slab on grade, stem walls, curb and gutter, slabs. • Install rebar and hardware • Hand Excavation and Grading is sometimes required • Hand Demolition of Concrete is sometimes required **Be sure to tell us if you have additional experience in any of the following: equipment operation, plan reading, leadership** Benefits Pay Rate: Starting at $18 per hour and up 401k Paid Time Off Accrual Sick Time Application Process • Reply to the associated email requesting an application • Fill and Return the completed application • Provide 3 referrals.
