JOB DESCRIPTION: The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing quality checks for the products. The Quality technicians ensure that products comply with all the requirements set forth by customer and are safe for consumption by verifying that product are processed at the required specification. Essential Functions: 1. Check the Facility Air temperature. 2. Verify that products comply with all the requirements. 3. Perform checks across all stages of production, Receiving and shipping to ensure product meet all the requirements in terms of quality and temperature. 4. Record all products Quantity and information on leaker log and make leak report to customer. 5. Place products on hold if necessary/instructed. All Product Holds and releases must be written in the QA Hold Log. 6. Perform calibration for all Temperature probes and guns. All calibration results must be written into the Calibration Log. 7. Communicate quality concerns or food safety issues to the QAM with urgency. 8. Comply and enforce GMP policies in the company and performs the task related to food safety as one of the essential functions. 9. Conduct GMP and Management policy trainings for all the new employees. 10. Supervision of the sanitation workers for day-to-day tasks as guided by QAM Shift: 1st shift: 6am-2:30pm; 3RD Shift: 10pm-6:30am Pay Rate: $17-$21 DOE
