Curb alert - FREE trees: 15' Red Maple & 4' Red Mulberry

These trees are "volunteers" that grew in our yard. It would be a shame to throw them out and I want them to find a good home where they will be cared for. The trees are to the right of the driveway near the sidewalk. No delivery. You haul and load: 15' Red Maple (Look for the tree propped up next to a bush in a black garbage bag.) This lovely tree has gorgeous scarlet colored leaves in the fall. 4' Red Mulberry - This sapling is from the large beautiful red mulberry tree that you can see if you look above over our garage. (The berries are actually a dark purple when fully ripe.) The berries ripen before the 4th of July. Once they start ripening, we have lots of feathered visitors coming to enjoy the berries including blue jays, cardinals, robins, and cat birds. I make cakes, jam and smoothies from the berries. The berries freeze well and are great with oatmeal and cereal. We just dug up the red maple tree at 4:30pm today (5/25) and we were very careful to extract the main roots. The tree was watered and is in a thick black plastic garbage bag with leaf mulch. It must be planted ASAP and watered heavily.
