NOW HIRING!!! Chanticlare Farm is putting together its farm crew for the 2022 growing season and has full and part-time positions available. This is a unique opportunity to work on a beautiful, small, organic vegetable and flower farm in the Chicago suburb of Winfield (near Wheaton). Spend the summer and fall outside learning hands-on the craft of sustainable agriculture. No experience necessary. Farm tasks will include harvesting, planting, cultivating & hoeing, washing vegetables, packing for CSA and farmers markets, seeding, watering & irrigation, bed preparation, pruning and more. The ideal candidate will be hard working, able to work alone or with others, have a positive attitude, enjoy being outside, and have a genuine interest in farming. Though most days it is absolutely gorgeous to work outside on a farm, fair warning that this is physical work that doesn’t stop for heat or rain. We are true small, family farm, a husband and wife team with our two young sons in tow. We live and breathe this farm and are passionate about the good food revolution and its potential to benefit all.
