Our clients in San Clemente are looking for a special person to help with their 14yrs old daughter who has cerebral palsy, is wheelchair bound and non-verbal. This is a permanent position that this year-round, on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-7pm. The position pays $25/hr (negotiable) and this person will work directly for the family. We’ve spoken a lot with Mom who has emphasized that this person need not be medically trained and that a positive and energetic person with a great attitude and a heart for this type of work is great. This being said, some background as a caregiver may be advantageous and excellent references from related work are essential. There is no heavy lifting in this position but some assistance with bathing and mealtimes will be required. This person must be a good driver too.
