Newly forming 90’s cover band searching for a experienced drummer meeting the following requirements: - 35-50 years old - Reliable transportation - Ability to rehearse weekly in Plano - Ability to travel throughout DFW for gigs - Available most Friday and Saturday evenings for bookings (Important) - Willingness to learn the material and be a team player - Professional with no excessive/reckless alcohol or drug use - If you have other abilities outside of music that can help contribute to the success of the band, please feel free to let me know… We’re going to be a 6 piece band once I can fill all of the member slots, we’ll covering hits from 90’s primarily focusing on Alternative Rock standards, to post-grunge chart toppers, to deep cut one hit wonders that are popular crowd pleasers. A deep love of this time period of music is essential. I need someone talented enough who can keep correct time, and preferably be somewhat familiar with the use of tracks, so that we replicate the correct beats needed for this style/type of music. The goal is to be an entertaining, fun band that runs on nostalgia fuel. As the drummer/percussionist, you’ll be expected to possess professional gear and be able to handle backing vocal duty for songs and singing harmony with either the male or female lead singers if you can handle some lite backing vocal duties… We will be able to take this outfit to some interesting places with the right individuals. Bookings and all management duties will be handled by myself the Bassist/Band Manager, an already established musician in the DFW area who’s been running bands and booking gigs for nearly 10 years.
