Would you like to have a job where you get off before 3pm? DPI Staffing is hiring someone to work as a production worker to sort linens! Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00am-2:00pm (Not bus assessable) The Soil Counter/Sorter handles, counts, sorts and records incoming soiled textiles from the customer. Job Duties: *Open bag of soiled textiles, then sort them by type, size and color. *Identifies damaged or abused textiles. *Prepares and transfers textiles to other departments. *Count textiles manually or electronically, and transfer them into sorting systems. *Identify damaged or abused textiles and record into sorting systems. *Meet efficiency and safety standards for the position. *Follow instructions as directed by supervision. Additional Work in other production positions as needed. *Recognize colors and sizes, count accurately. *Comprehend and follow direction. * Physical Demands: Standing, bending, benching, for long periods of time. Physical Requirements consist of being able to perform the physical demands for the entire shift.
