Hello Facebook World, I am looking to hire three or more employees at my family’s scrap metal company, Abrams Scrap Metals Co. in Portland, Oregon. The job description, wage rate, and further details are as follows: CURRENTLY OFFERING: $250 Referral Bonus after 60 days $500 Signing Bonus after 60 days Cutting Torch Operator/General Laborer: Looking for experienced Cutting Torch (oxygen/propane) Operators Position is Full Time (40+hours per week) Work location is a North Portland scrap yard, be prepared to work outside during most of your shift. We provide all PPE (safety gear). ALL safety rules MUST BE FOLLOWED, including maintaining your equipment. REQUIRED DETAILS: High school or equivalent education level Must be able to speak and understand English PAY: Wage Rate Range: $18-$30+ per hour dependent upon skills/knowledge Pay subject to increase after 30 days dependent on quality of work. $500 signing bonus after applicant works 60 days $250 referral bonus after applicant works 60 days Payment Every Friday. ABOUT ABRAMS SCRAP METALS CO: We are a scrap metal company located in the Portland Metro Area looking for experienced torch-cutters/burners of heavy metals as well as general laborers. Operating metal cutting torches to process and sort metals as well as welding and plasma burning. Better Business Bureau certified since 1987.
