A small testing laboratory has an immediate opening for a full-time laboratory maintenance/day porter position. No experience necessary. The applicant must have good verbal and written communication skills. The employee will clean the laboratory and perform maintenance (e.g. change A/C filters, etc.) Handyman capabilities are a plus. Benefits will include medical insurance (company pays a portion), dental insurance (company pays a portion), 9 paid holidays, and 13 personal days. After 18 months of employment, full time employees will enter the 401k plan. Job Description: Full-time laboratory cleaning and light building maintenance (change A/C filters, etc.) Position supports the lab by promoting a safe and clean working environment for analysts. Technician will ensure the lab and rest of the building is maintained and clean to regulatory standards. Position will complete other facility maintenance duties as required/assigned. Position reports to lab management.
