Internet Service installer / wireless field tech Your Town Online, is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) serving Mendocino County, California with high speed internet/data telecommunications services. Our customers are residential, business, commercial and government entities of many kinds, and frequently are in rural areas inadequately served by any other provider. The Internet Service Installer role is a full time position traveling to customer locations and providing installation and troubleshooting/technical support of the service. Typical duties include climbing ladders, installing wireless receivers dishes, connecting customer equipment, pulling drop cable from a service point to a customer location, pulling Ethernet (low voltage) cabling at customer locations, and other duties in support of the customer and the service. Requirements for this position includes: Clean driving record / No prior felonies Able to climb ladders, use common hand / power tools, knowledge of basic computer / internet usage. Able to lift up to 50lbs Prior experience with a WISP or similar operation is highly desired. On the job training will be provided to all candidates. We are a drug, weapon and violence free workplace. This is a full time position with the opportunity for some overtime as required working out of our Willits based office.
