Cobabe Brothers Plumbing is actively hiring Underground Pipe Tradesmen, Pipe Layers and Laborers for an ongoing project within the City of Vallejo. Applicants must have verifiable experience working on underground wet utility and civil projects. We are looking for qualified, dependable people to join our team! The following skills and experience are required. Due to the nature and scope of work, there will be no exception to the minimum requirements below: - Minimum 3-5 years of verifiable experience in the trade for which you are applying. - Experience with underground wet utilities; sewer, water, etc. - Must have reliable transportation to and from work. - Must have own basic hand tools. - Must be reliable, responsible and ready to work. - Ability to follow direction is a must! - Ability to read plans and specs a plus. - Experience working on prevailing wage projects a plus. - Those with lead or foreman experience are encouraged to apply. - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening is mandatory. - Those with prior experience working on prevailing wage projects and those local to the project will be given highest priority. - Applicants must be able to travel to local office in El Dorado Hills for new hire / onboarding process. Compensation: This is a prevailing wage project. Pay will be hourly, based on project/county prevailing wage rate(s). Eligible candidates may be asked to stay on for additional work following completion of project. Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k and paid time off for eligible employees.
