Want to form Trippy Rock/Jazz/Funk/R&B/Latin/Bluegrass/"Metal" Band (Arcata and Humboldt area) Hey everyone~ Spring is here and everything coming back to Life has me feeling like celebrating! Just like the heading says: want to create a musical hybrid jam style that is inclusive of the many elements I enjoy... Rock is traditionally a combination of Blues & Country, and This would be with the addition of all the other style ingredients- to really magnify our harmonic iridescent. Hope no one is put off by the" metal " description it's more about reaching for the classical Style technical perfection or something, rather than just being loud and crazy, but if somebody wants to do some cool conscious raps that could work too!!!. I mainly play Guitar and sing, decent at Bass, and Mandolin. Right now, I only personally have a 24-fret acoustic/electric that's missing its electronic guts but still sounds great even unamplified, and I also build guitars.... I've Finally reached the level of technique where I can play the notes I'm trying about 99% right, and the "mistakes" aren't even noticeable most times! So yeah, I'm claiming at this time to be able to play almost anything... and always enjoy stretching my limits. I'm in Arcata, I walk and use AMRTS & RTS or my bike to get around. Jason
