Description

We are currently hiring an experienced construction laborer/carpenter for a well established general contractor in the Saratoga County area to perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Some of those tasks include but are not limited to: Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials. Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities. Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, and a variety of other equipment and instruments as required Clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers as well. Pay: $18 to $25 per hour based on experience Requirements: Valid Driver's License PPE (hardhat, steel toes, etc)
