J W Freeman Plumbing is currently interviewing for an apprentice position. No experience is necessary. Learning a trade is a great way to get a rewarding career without student loans and you get paid while you're being trained. Plumbers will always be needed and they get paid pretty well too. A company vehicle once you have completed training which is usually 2-4 years depending on you. Some of the things that you will need to bring to the table are: A valid drivers license. Transportation to our shop on 6th st and back to your home. (we will provide transportation to and from job sites) Be able to pass a 10 year background check. Be drug free. A teachable attitude and a desire to learn. Respect for your co workers and our customers. Punctuality A good work ethic A good sense of humor. Being an apprentice can be a lot of work. You will be digging ditches, climbing in attics, crawling under houses, walking on roofs, carrying heavy objects, cabling clogged sewers and more. You will get hot and dirty.
