Landscape Project Manager / Superintendent Location: Pearl River, NY Full time Employee Apply Here: As a Project Manager / Site Superintendent at Hudson House & Garden you will guide a dedicated team of foremen, laborers, and subcontractors through the construction process from concept through execution. You will not only be involved in pre-construction planning, running the site build to closeout, but also be integral in building strong relationships with our clients. Primary Responsibilities Project Management: Manage construction projects from pre-bid through completion. Develop schedules, direct crews, manage subs, organize logistics, perform quality control checks. Estimating: Work with other members to the team to develop and refine budgets based on blueprints, specifications, and details. Create and track change orders. Client Communications: Listen carefully to clients and be sure their needs are being heard so everyone involved sees success in the final outcome. Collaboration: Work in partnership with other members of the company to provide the best outcomes for all clients. Opportunities to also participate in strategic projects during the off season. Qualifications: - 5+ years field experience in the landscape industry, preferably residential construction - Tech savvy and willing to work in a highly technologically enabled office - Ability to work independently and make sound construction and client focused decisions - Experience with estimating and unit pricing in the landscape industry - Ability to be onsite and in the Pearl River based office on a flexible basis - Strong ability to read plans and specifications - Ability to show working knowledge of tools/equipment/practices etc. - Strong written and oral communication skills (Spanish a plus) Compensation: Commensurate on experience.
