CMR Construction & Roofing is looking to hire a Service Technician for our Commercial Department in the Orlando Area. The main function of this position is to perform repair/service work required in the maintenance and construction of various projects assigned by Operations. Essential Functions: Receive work orders for the job and estimate material requirements and tools/equipment needed to perform the job. Organize work load for smooth operations. Perform work needed to ensure proper quality levels for the project are met and customer is satisfied. Ensure that the established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed. Provide progress updates to the Service Department Field Manager on a daily basis or upon the completion of the project,whichever comes first. Responsible for all processes, equipment, safety, and housekeeping of the work area. Responsible for meeting production quality and quantity standards on the job. Ensure that the work is completed within the allotted time. Troubleshoot any problems that might arise. Perform other duties as assigned. This description reflects the principal functions of the job. Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment. Ability to work at heights. Physical strength to lift and move packages of materials that may weigh up to 100 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or crouch for extended periods. Ability to work in warm climates. Other Requirements: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record necessary to travel to different worksites and transport materials for the job.
